The Montevetrano company estate is located on the slopes of the Picentini Mountains Regional Park.
Along with San Cipriano, the Picentino valley is formed by other new towns which extend to the rear edge of Salerno, in a mountainous territory rich in history and ancient cultures.
The urban structure of these small nuclei has been shaped by nature, with houses built up along the mountain slopes and integrated into the land, passed through by the clear waters of the Picentino river.
The natural heritage of the area includes the biggest forest expanse in southern Italy: forests of oak, chestnut and hazelnut to vineyards, citrus plants and olive trees. The villages, squares and small town lanes which spring up from the Picentini Mountain valleys still breathe the mystery of ancient traditions, celebrated through evocative festivals, fairs and religious processions. Many products typical of the Picentini such as wine, oil, hazelnut Tonda di Giffoni and annurca apples, have received the TGI, PGI and PDO marks, and have always represented a high quality economic and productive resource.
